Grass Valley, Nevada City, and the wider county already have job boards, workforce programs, and staffing agencies doing this work. The Office's own job-creation efforts are meant to complement what's already here, not duplicate it — so before building something new, start with what already exists.

Notes from the review
- Regional workforce board naming caution (resolved): Golden Sierra Job Training Agency, the first candidate found in search, actually covers Placer/El Dorado/Alpine counties, not Nevada County. The correct board/AJCC operator for Nevada County is the Alliance for Workforce Development (AFWD), confirmed via its own site listing a Nevada County office at 988 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley. Re-verify this at each quarterly check — these boards do rebrand.
- Ampra's Staffing Services lists Nevada County (Grass Valley, Nevada City, Truckee) as an explicit service area on its own Services page, even though its only physical office is in Cameron Park (El Dorado County). Confirmed directly on that page, not assumed from a search snippet.
